The Lake is patrolled by the county Sherriff, NY State Police, and NYS DEC, and the penalty for drinking and driving a boat are the same as for drinking and driving a car.

| No refunds will be given due to poor weather conditions. In the event of thunder and lightning, your reservation can be rescheduled to a different date, based on availability of boats. | |
| You must be 21 to rent and drive the boat - a valid driver's license is required. | |
| Any damages or loss to the boat or equipment is the responsibility of the renter. Renter is responsible for any injury to passengers. | |
